Plaza Hotel

The Plaza Hotel is a 19 story historic landmark. Recent renovations have given the Plaza Hotel 282 rooms plus 152 condo suites. The luxury hotel faces the well known Grand Army Plaza. This French Renaissance Chateau styled building opened in 1907 and was the site of Truman Capote’s acclaimed Black and White Ball in the Grand Ballroom in 1966. The Plaza Hotel was bought by Donald Trump in 1988 for 407.5 million dollars but then sold in 1995 for 325 million.
